The number of ads for organic produce was 29,790, 11% of total ads.\n\nThe following are the prices of major advertised items (3,000 plus ads) this week, compared to the same week last year. Significant increases in price for fruit this week were Honeycrisp Apples (2 lb bags) at 27%, Gala/Royal Gala Apples at 18%, Cantaloups at 16% and Hass Avocados at 14% Significant decreases in price for fruit this week were Red Seedless Grapes at 23%, Honeycrisp Apples (per lb) at 20%, White Seedless Grapes at 12% and Apple and Processed Juice Marked Cider at 10%. There were no significant changes in price for potatoes and onions this week. There were no significant increases in price for vegetables this week.
